They're Making Me Sick!

Unfortunately, I still have the cold that I mentioned in my last post. It's been over a week and it has still not let up at all! I think the Kindergarteners are keeping me sick with all of their little germs! What do you do to stay healthy around all the little ones? I take a multivitamin everyday but apparently that is not enough. Hmm...

This past week I went to an administrator panel to listen to several area superintendents speak about how they select candidates for positions. Honestly, it was incredibly informational, but I left feeling slightly discouraged. I got nervous about simply asking a question and introducing myself...to the point where I was physically hot and my face got red...how am I ever going to make it through an interview??? I am so passionate about teaching...but I am terrified that I am never going to get a job. If at all possible, I'd like to stay in Ohio...but I do not want to be a sub for long...it's just not for me. Subbing will be ok for a few months, until the new school year starts, but I want to be employed for the 09-10 school year. But apparently the outlook for me, or anyone, in Ohio is bleak. I just hope that with all my experience and passion for teaching, I will be one of the lucky few who gets a job.

I guess I still have awhile to worry about this...
