No Longer A Student Teacher...

Well, as of yesterday I am no longer a student teacher...but instead, a real teacher :) Now I just have to wait for my license to actually come...which I hear takes forever.

I also need to start applying for jobs...I am really considering relocating, but I'm not sure as to how far I am really willing to go. My family just means way too much to me to be too far away from.

I will be updating at some point this week with a bit more reflection of my final two weeks of student teaching, but for now I just wanted to let everyone know how excited I am to finally be able to call myself a teacher :)

See you soon.

Congratulations, that is great. I am just about to start student teaching in January. I do not know what to expect. I have a kindergarten class, and I only worked with K-5 my second year in college only for about a total of twelve hours.

Congratulations! Have you been hired yet? Are you applying? Yep, in some states it can take a long time to get your license, while in others, it shows up in under a month! It's exhilarating nonetheless~ as for the gift cards, make sure whatever you've bought has been labeled with your name, right down to your staple remover (get the hand-held wand shaped type, not the chompers)!
